Families Project Coordinator – Round Chapel Old School Rooms CPURC

The Families Project Coordinator will work to deliver and further develop a programme of friendly, inclusive, non-judgemental activities for local families with children under 5.  Our offer currently includes a weekly well-being club, a seasonal gardening group, a stay and play session and food centred activities.

You will be an important part of our small team leading your own small project team of one member of staff, sessional workers and volunteers working together to create regular sessions, activities and events with and for local families.

You’ll be passionate about bringing people together, making people feel welcome and be great at delivering engaging outreach.

You’ll have a good knowledge of other local community groups and activities and love to make connections.

You’ll understand the challenges of early parenthood particularly for families on low income living in temporary or inadequate accommodation.

We believe that having a staff team that better reflects the community that we work in will make us stronger.  We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief.

This is a part-time, term-time role.

Salary: £30,292 FTE per annum, pro rata (£15,659)
